King Polytechnic Engineering Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 355.135 million compared to TWD 591.245 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 16.620 million compared to TWD 4.008 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 14.493 million compared to net income of TWD 27.917 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.18 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.45 a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.21 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.41 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.18 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.44 a year ago. Diluted loss per share was TWD 0.21 compared to diluted earnings per share of TWD 0.4 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,384.589 million compared to TWD 1,464.470 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 53.195 million compared to TWD 8.145 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 35.243 million compared to net income of TWD 41.871 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.49 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.71 a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.51 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.61 a year ago.
