Ethiris VMS 13.2 - Now launched internationally

2021-11-29

Ethiris VMSThe main news in Ethiris VMS 13.2 is our new concept adaptive video streams. The purpose of these is to increase performance so that it is possible to display significantly more cameras at the same time on the same hardware compared to previous versions of Ethiris VMS.

In order to detect problems with individual disks in a NAS, we have introduced a new script object for reading status from different devices via SNMPv1. In this way, Ethiris VMS can generate alarms when different types of equipment fail in a facility and the operator can instantly find out and put in place appropriate measures.

We have expanded and clarified the information for the facilities running our new subscription-based license model Universal. Now, as a customer, you can feel completely confident that you have control over the number of cameras running in your facility and thus you also have full control over costs.

To increase operator efficiency when reviewing exported video, we have improved EthirisViewer on several points. To be able to display multiple high-resolution cameras simultaneously on a high-resolution screen, we have greatly improved performance. It is common for the operator to have to view video back and forth several times to find what they are looking for. Therefore, we have introduced an option to play video backwards and also added keyboard shortcuts so the operator can easily play the video back and forth using the keyboard.

Ethiris VMS 13.2 contains these and several other exciting news that we believe all users of Ethiris will appreciate.
