Kawata Mfg. Co., Ltd. reported consolidated and non-consolidated earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2020. For the year, on consolidated basis, the company reported net sales of JPY 21,197 million compared to JPY 24,576 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 1,593 million compared to JPY 2,304 million a year ago. Net income attributable to owners of parent was JPY 1,063 million compared to JPY 1,676 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 150.19 compared to JPY 236.70 a year ago.
For the year, on non-consolidated basis, the company reported net sales of JPY 10,396 million compared to JPY 11,884 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 783 million compared to JPY 888 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 704 million compared to JPY 720 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 99.43 compared to JPY 101.77 a year ago.
