Platinum Equity, LLC entered into a definitive sale and purchase agreement to acquire JELD-WEN Australia Pty Limited from JELD-WEN Holding, Inc. (NYSE:JELD) for approximately AUD 700 million on April 17, 2023. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2023 and subject to regulatory approvals. Macquarie Capital acted as financial advisor and Jason Jordan of Herbert Smith Freehills acted as legal advisor to JELD-WEN Holding, Inc. Gresham Advisory Partners acted as financial advisor and Allens acted legal advisor to Platinum Equity, LLC in the transaction.
