Islami Insurance Bangladesh Limited (IIBL) is a Bangladesh-based non-life insurance company, which is engaged in the general insurance business. The Company provides general insurance products, which include fire insurance, marine hull and cargo insurance, engineering insurance, motor insurance and miscellaneous insurance. These insurances provide protection against damage to the policy holder's assets if damage occurs from risk covered by the policy. Its marine cargo Insurance provides insurance cover in respect of loss of or damage to cargo (goods) as per different types of clauses during transit by rail, road, sea, and air. The Company’s motor insurance for commercial vehicles, private vehicles, and motorcycles/scooters. Its engineering insurance includes machinery breakdown, deterioration of stock, electronic equipment insurance (EEI), boiler and pressure vessel insurance, lift insurance policy and erection all risk.
