PRESS RELEASE IREN SpA: the Board of Directors approves unanimously the terms of the agreement about Edison and Edipower.

Reggio Emilia, 28th January 2012 - The Board of Directors of IREN SpA, held today, unanimously approved the terms of the preliminary agreement for the reorganization of Edison and Edipower, following the further and positive negotiations with A2A held after the meeting of Board of Directors of 25th January and in accordance with what has been communicated to the market on the 27th and the 29th of December.

Moreover, the Board of Directors has authorized the Executive Commitee to negotiate and to sign the final agreements for the implementation and execution of the operations already communicated to the market.
