Road Dynamics : IRD Exhibiting at the TRB 2016 Annual Meeting

Saskatoon, SK January 8, 2016 - International Road Dynamics Inc. (IRD) is attending and exhibiting at the Transportation Research Board (TRB) 95th Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, USA from January 10-14, 2016. At TRB, IRD will be presenting the VectorSense™ tire sensor suite, a new in-road sensor technology that provides vehicle position and individual tire footprint data for use in traffic data collection programs. VectorSense™ sensors provide information that presents new opportunities to identify specific vehicle types using an in-road sensor and also has applications in commercial vehicle safety systems.

The TRB Annual Meeting program covers all transportation modes, with more than 5,000 presentations in nearly 800 sessions and workshops, addressing topics of interest to policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions. More than 35 sessions and workshops will focus on the spotlight theme for the 2016 meeting: Research Convergence for a Multimodal Future.
