International Entertainment Corporation provided earnings guidance for the six months ended 31 December 2021. For the period, the company expects to record a net loss of approximately HK$136.6 million as compared to the net loss of approximately HK$91.1 million for the six months ended 31 December 2020, representing an increase of 50%. This was mainly due to, among other things, (i) an increase in fair value loss of investment properties and (ii) a decrease in revenue from the hotel operation, because a series of anti-pandemic measures such as entry restriction and different levels of community quarantine requirements imposed in the Philippines to battle the COVID-19 pandemic continued to impact the Group's gaming and hotel operation in the Philippines.
