iCreate Limited announced that Messrs. Natasha Dixon and Devon Lawrence have tendered their resignations as Directors of the Board of Directors of iCreate Limited and Chairpersons for the Remuneration and Audit Committees effective December 18, 2020 and December 31, 2020 respectively. The resignation of Mr. Lawrence as the Chairperson of the Audit Committee was not related to any disagreement in the accounting principles concerning the financial affairs of iCreate Limited. The Board of Directors announced the appointment of Mrs. Dainya-Joy Wint as a Director and Chairperson of the Audit Committee. Mrs. Wint brings to iCreate Limited a wealth of experience in taxation, business strategy, institutional intervention and workforce training. Mrs. Wint has over nine (9) years of professional experience in the field of finance with particular experience in audit, accounting and taxation. She worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in audit and taxation where she managed a portfolio of companies in industries including investment, insurance, manufacturing, retail, distribution, agriculture and media. Her audit experience covers audit planning, testing internal finance controls and performing quantitative and qualitative work to assist in providing an audit opinion. Additionally, her tax experience covers a variety of compliance and advisory engagements including advising international corporations on Jamaican tax matters, tax planning, and advising on the tax implication of particular transactions as it relates to Customs, General Consumption Tax and Income tax . She holds a Master of Science Degree (M.Sc.) in Cognitive Science from the University of Osnabrück in Germany, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Management Studies (Accounting) from the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica, where she was a member of the Honour Society. Mrs. Wint is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) having completed the examinations in 2013, where she placed in the Top Two (2) in the island of Jamaica and was the Top Graduate in Taxation.
