ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited at its meeting held on February 20, 2023, approved following changes: appointment of Mr. Gaurav Arora as a Key Management Person (KMP) in terms of "Guidelines for Corporate Governance for Insurers in India" issued by Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, with effect from February 20, 2023. Mr. Arora would be leading Underwriting & Claims function for Property and Casualty lines of business. Mr. Gaurav Arora has been working in the Underwriting and Claims department of the Company since June 2001.

He has over 24 years of total experience both outside and within the Company. In his current role as Head-Motor, Corporate & SME Underwriting and Claims, he is responsible for managing entire Motor Underwriting business, Corporate and SME Underwriting along with claims related to above mentioned businesses. Mr. Arora is a Commerce graduate from Delhi University and has completed his Masters in Finance and Controls from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.

Mr. Sanjay Datta, Chief-Underwriting, Reinsurance & Claims and a Key Management Person of the Company is scheduled to retire on July 31, 2023, from the services of the Company. Mr. Datta intends to pursue his professional career in other opportunity(ies) within the ICICI Group and has accordingly sought to be relieved from the services of the Company with effect from May 1, 2023. Mr. Datta shall be officiating his responsibilities till April 30, 2023, and during this period, the Company would realign the other functional responsibilities being handled by him.

Further, Mr. Gaurav Arora would be responsible for signing and executing regulatory returns, pertaining to Underwriting and Claims function, on behalf of the Company, in place of Mr. Sanjay Datta. The company approved the appointment of Ms. Vasundhara Bhonsle as a Key Management Person (KMP) in terms of "Guidelines for Corporate Governance for Insurers in India" issued by Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India with effect from February 20, 2023. Ms. Bhonsle would be leading Customer Support and Operations function of the Company.

Ms. Vasundhara Bhonsle has been with the Company for more than 8 years. As Head-Customer Support and Operations, she is currently managing customer experience and entire operations of the Company. She has overall experience of 25 years and prior to her current role in the Company, she has managed customer support functions at various companies.

Ms. Bhonsle is a Delhi University graduate and a PGDRM in Marketing from NMIMS, Mumbai.
