Huber+Suhner AG reported group earnings results for the half year 2016. For the period, the company reported net sales of CHF 381.2 million against CHF 356.1 million a year ago. EBIT was CHF 38.4 million compared to CHF 23.3 million a year ago. Net income was CHF 29.9 million compared to CHF 6.1 million a year ago. Free operating cash flow was negative CHF 3.2 million compared to positive 12.1 million.
The company provided earnings guidance for the full year 2016. For the period, the company expects to see growth in net sales compared with 2015 of at least 5%, provided that the currency situation remains unchanged. The EBIT margin for 2016 as a whole will also probably slightly exceed the medium term target range of 6-9%.
