POSITIVE PROFIT ALERT

FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 JUNE 2020

This announcement is made by Huaxi Holdings Company Limited (the ''Company'', and together with its subsidiaries, the ''Group'') pursuant to Rule 13.09(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the ''Listing Rules'') and the Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (''SFO'').

After a preliminary review by the Company's management based on the information currently available and the unaudited management accounts of the Group, the board (the ''Board'') of directors (the ''Directors'') of the Company wishes to inform the shareholders of the Company (the ''Shareholders'') and potential investors that the Group will record an increase in profit after income tax for the six months ended 30 June 2020 (the ''Period'') of more than 80% as compared with that for the six months ended 30 June 2019. Such increase was mainly attributable to the increase in revenue from the environmental and ecological restoration treatment business during the Period.

Due to the change of financial year-end date in 2019, the Board wishes to further inform the Shareholders that the profit after income tax for the Period decreased slightly as compared with the announcement of interim results for the six months ended 30 September 2019.

The Board wishes to state that this announcement is based on the preliminary assessment on the unaudited management accounts of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2020 and information currently available to it, which have not been audited or reviewed by the Company's auditor and may be subject to adjustments. Details of the financial information and performance of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2020 will be disclosed in the interim results announcement of the Company which is expected to be published by the end of August 2020.
