Hua Eng Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 2,249.784 million compared to TWD 1,710.800 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 186.342 million compared to operating loss of TWD 123.355 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 874.666 million compared to net loss of TWD 1,057.171 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.06 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 2.49 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.05 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 2.49 a year ago.
