Hsing Ta Cement Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,885.382 million compared to TWD 2,090.368 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 499.812 million compared to TWD 621.791 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 161.416 million compared to TWD 225.532 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.47 compared to TWD 0.66 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 3,697.732 million compared to TWD 3,255.948 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 988.913 million compared to TWD 839.075 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 445.833 million compared to TWD 316.873 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.3 compared to TWD 0.93 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.3 compared to TWD 0.92 a year ago.
