Grant of Options pursuant to the Hong Leong Asia Share Option Scheme 2000

In accordance with Rule 704(29) of the Listing Manual of Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited, Hong Leong Asia Ltd. (the "Company") wishes to announce that on 18 August 2021, the Company approved the Sixteenth Grant of Options pursuant to the Hong Leong Asia Share Option Scheme 2000 ("SOS"). Details of the grant of options are as follows:

(a)	Date of grant :	18 August 2021
(b)	Acquisition price of options granted :	S$0.87* per share
(c)	Number of options granted :	60,000
(d)	Market price (last dealt price) of shares	S$0.855 per share
	on the date of grant :
(e)	Number of options granted to directors	Nil
	and controlling shareholders (and their
	associates), if any :
(f)	Validity period of the options :	10 years from the date of grant

• The acquisition price of the options granted is equal to the average of the last dealt share prices of the Company's shares, as determined by reference to the daily official list published by Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited for the 3 consecutive trading days immediately preceding the date of grant, rounded up to the nearest whole cent.
