Hon Hai declared that it will jointly develop Firefox tablet computer with Mozilla. Both sides will launch serial products equipped with 10-inch 1,280*800 screen, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, using processors from MTK. North America will become a major region for promotion.

Both sides aimed to make full use of hardware, software and developer resources to develop Firefox tablet computers. Mozilla will be responsible for system, research and development guidance and update maintenance while Hon Hai hardware.
