Osaka, Japan, December 27, 2016-Hitachi Zosen Corporation (TYO:7004) has announced that a consortium it represents received an order for the construction of an Energy-from-Waste plant for the Shioya Wide Area Administrative Association, formed by the cities of Yaita and Sakura, and the towns of Shioya and Takanezawa, in Tochigi.

The four municipalities previously treated solid waste at the Shioya Wide Area Clean Center, managed and operated by the association since April 1990.
