Change of Trade Name Approved at 127th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders
～ to "Kanadevia Corporation" from 1 October 2024. ～
Hitachi Zosen Corporation announces that its policy to change its trade name to "Kanadevia Corporation", which was announced in September 2023, has been officially approved at the 127th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on 20 June 2024.
"Kanadevia" is a name derived from our corporate philosophy and brand concept, and will carry on our history and traditions. The history and traditions we will carry on are the values common to the Group, including the spirit of our founder E. H. Hunter, our company motto and the Hitz Value, which defines our corporate philosophy, management approach and code of conduct.
Inheriting the spirit of challenge, the spirit of diversity and inclusion, the spirit of cooperation, and the spirit of valuing the public interest, we will respect diversity and continue to innovate tirelessly, blazing new trails like an orchestra playing in harmony.
The trade names of our group companies will also be changed as follows. The change of trade name of Hitachi Zosen Inova AG will be announced in due course.

Hitachi Zosen Corporation is one of the Japanese largest engineering and building groups. Net sales break down by activity as follows:
- construction of environment protection units and systems (60.4%): waste water and waste processing units, soil sanitation systems, global heat prevention systems, etc. The group also develops a desalination and purification plants construction activity;
- manufacturing of industrial machines (28.2%): precision machines, iron and steel products manufacturing machines, industrial boilers, etc.;
