HIRANO TECSEED Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the second quarter Sep. 30, 2013. For the period, on consolidated basis, the company reported net sales of JPY 20,146 million compared to JPY 7,193 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 3,337 million compared to JPY 712 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 2,033 million compared to JPY 464 million a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 135.20 compared to JPY 30.84 a year ago.
The company announced an interim dividend of JPY 13.00 per share for fiscal 2014. The dividend payment will be commencing on Dec. 5, 2013.
The company expects a dividend of JPY 13.00 per share for fiscal year ending March 31, 2014.
For the year ending March 31, 2014, on consolidated basis, the company expects net sales of JPY 29,000 million, operating income of JPY 3,800 million, net income of JPY 2,400 million or JPY 159.52 per share.

The Coating Machines-related segment manufactures and sells coating and laminating-related machines such as magnetic tapes, composite films for wrapping, adhesive tapes, synthetic leathers, floor materials, wallpaper, decorative sheets, insulating plates, as well as drying and heat disposal machines, among others.
