HIRANO TECSEED Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2013. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 24,134 million compared with JPY 10,478 million for the same period a year ago. Operating income was JPY 3,375 million compared with JPY 886 million for the same period a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 3,452 million compared with JPY 939 million for the same period a year ago. Net income was JPY 2,064 million or JPY 137.22 per share compared with JPY 591 million or JPY 39.33 per share for the same period a year ago.
The company planned to pay final dividend of JPY 13.00 per the full year ending March 31, 2014.
The company provided consolidated earnings guidance for the full year ending March 31, 2014. For the period, the company expects to report net sales of JPY 29,000 million, operating income of JPY 3,800 million, ordinary income of JPY 3,850 million and net income of JPY 2,400 million or JPY 159.52 per share.
HIRANO TECSEED Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of coating machines-related and chemical machines-related equipment, among others. The Coating Machines-related segment manufactures and sells coating and laminating-related machines such as magnetic tapes, composite films for wrapping, adhesive tapes, synthetic leathers, floor materials, wallpaper, decorative sheets, insulating plates, as well as drying and heat disposal machines, among others. The Chemical Machines-related segment manufactures and sells macromolecular chemical machines such as machines for plastic films, film formations, electrical printed circuit boards (PCBs) and ceramic sheet moldings, high-heat processing equipment, drying and heat disposal machines and others. The Others segment manufactures and sells dyeing machines and various machinery parts, as well as provides repair and remodeling services.
