Hardman Resources Limited is engaged in the exploration and development of oil and gas reserves internationally. The Company has assets in Mauritania, Uganda, Tanzania, Guyane and the Falklands. In Uganda, Hardman is an operator and holds a 50% interest in Block 2 in a joint venture with Tullow Oil. The Mputa-1 well in Uganda was spudded on December 22, 2005, and reached total depth of 1,186 meters in January 2006. In March 2006, it signed a farm-in agreement with Ndovu Resources Limited that will result in Hardman acquiring an interest in the onshore and nearshore Tanzania portion of the Ruvuma Basin. Hardman was awarded the exclusive exploration license (EEL) offshore Guyane in June 2001, and holds a 97.5% interest. The EEL covers an area of approximately 65,000 square kilometers. Hardman holds a 22.5% interest in seven offshore production licenses covering 29,122 square kilometers to the south of the Falkland Islands in a joint venture with operator Falkland Oil and Gas Limited.
