GXO Logistics, Inc. (NYSE: GXO), the world's largest pure-play contract logistics provider, has announced Vincent Ricci as the company's new Managing Director of its business in France. Previously, he held the position of Deputy Managing Director. Ricci is based in GXO's Neuilly office.

Ricci is leading a team of 10,000 team members in France across 70 warehouses, handling logistics and value-added services for an array of leading brands in ecommerce, retail, FMCG and technology. His responsibilities include strengthening existing partnerships with GXO's customers in France, extending the service offering into new sectors, and growing GXO's transport offering, drawing on GXO's unrivaled expertise in automation and logistics innovation. Ricci succeeds Rui Marques, who is taking on the role of Managing Director, Iberia.

Ricci joined GXO in 2017 as Director of Development in France and was appointed Deputy Managing Director in 2023. He has over 15 years' experience with international groups specializing in logistics and e-commerce, including two years with Amazon. Previously, he worked for Geodis, where he was in charge of developing e-commerce accounts within the group in France, and for PwC, where he led major supply chain transformation projects and the creation of new distribution models at leading retailers. He began his career in Asia with Geodis, as head of the Asia-Pacific research department.

An engineer by training, Ricci holds a specialized diploma in Production from ESSTIN in France and a Master of Science in Operations and Supply Chain from Chalmers tekniska högskola in Sweden.
