Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 14,179.1 million compared to INR 10,038.6 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 14,393.2 million compared to INR 10,358.8 million a year ago. Net income was INR 3,294.5 million compared to INR 2,046.5 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 30.09 compared to INR 18.32 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 42,132.3 million compared to INR 28,798.1 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 42,850.8 million compared to INR 29,842.7 million a year ago. Net income was INR 9,969.4 million compared to INR 5,655.9 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 90.23 compared to INR 50.74 a year ago.
Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited is an India-based chemical company. The Company's business segment is chemicals, which comprises of bulk chemicals, fluorochemicals and fluoropolymer. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing and trading of refrigerant gases, caustic soda, chloromethane, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), fluoropolymers, fluoromonomers, specialty fluorointermediates, speciality chemicals, mining and sale of fluorspar and allied activities. The Company caters to both domestic and international markets. Its chemical products include caustic soda, carbon tetrachloride, chlorine, methylene di chloride, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydrogen sulphate, hydrogen gas, fluorspar and anhydrous hydrogen chloride. Its fluoropolymers products include polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), fluorine kautschuk material (FKM), perfluoroaloxy alkanes (PFA), micro powder fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) and PPA. The Company's refrigerants products include R22, R32, R407C and R410A.
