On Tuesday, engineering group Gaussin reported "excellent prospects" following what it saw as a "turning point" in its 2022 financial year, thanks to a major order from Amazon.

The specialist in goods and people transportation and autonomous technologies generated sales and license revenues up 8.6% to 57.3 million euros last year.

The Group reports a record order backlog of 130 million euros to December 31, 2022, confirming that its sales target of 100 million euros should be reached, if not exceeded, this year.

For the record, last month Gaussin announced an order from Amazon for 329 'ATM' fleet tractors, which will be used on the online retail giant's American sites.

Following these announcements, Gaussin shares climbed 5.6% on Tuesday morning on the Paris Bourse.
