Fras-le expands its commercial linings at HDAW 2018 and celebrates its partnership with Meritor
Showing its presence once again at the HDAW 2018 - Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week in Las Vegas from January 22nd to 25th, Fras-le presents its commercial heavy duty linings, distributed in the North American market through Meritor, with whom they have maintained a 20 year partnership. This successful partnership began in 1997 with the sale of heavy duty brake linings for the aftermarket. The Brazilian product was approved by the OEM in 1999, a decisive factor for the installation of a factory in Alabama and a sales and engineering office in Michigan.
'Two decades ago, the decision to make this alliance with Meritor put us on the international scene with a presence in all continents and this led us to a committed and internationally recognized partnership that added value to our brand and products,' said Fras-le's CEO Sérgio de Carvalho. 'It's the ideal partnership to support our customers with high-performance friction materials,' says Anderson Pontalti, Fras-le North America General Manager.
At HDAW 2018, which is an environment that is conducive to business meetings between distributors and independent parts and service providers, Fras-le will also present high technology and performance products such as commercial brake pads for air and hydraulic brakes as well as heavy-duty linings for drum brakes. Its presence at the event is also aimed at prospecting new business to expand its participation in the North American market.
