Fras-le Engineering and the Randon Technology Center (RTC) carried out field data collection work in India to support AFF operations in the country to obtain a better understanding of commercial vehicle applications.
The objective was to acquire information about the brake systems of vehicles as well as the characteristics of their use (vocations). Information was collected, including the working temperature of brake systems, brake pressures, vehicle speeds, altimetry of routes, and other variables.
Varied routes in different cities were evaluated (Jammu, Jaipur, New Delhi, Farhat, Darlaghat, Pune, Kerala, etc.), always using customers' vehicles in their normal conditions of use. More than 30 days' worth of information was collected, which will allow Fras-le to develop optimized and suitable materials for their market.
