Traffic figures
355'315 passengers were handled at Zurich Airport in December (-84.8% vs. previous year). Local passengers decreased by -82.9% and transfer passengers decreased by -89.3%. The transfer rate, which was at 30.4% last December is at 21.4% in the month under review.
Air traffic movements
In December, air traffic movements decreased by -68.0% to 6'471 versus previous year.
Traffic ratios
The average seat load factor saw a decrease of -26.1 percentage points to 50.5% and the average passenger per movement figure decreased to 85.9 (129.9 previous year).
Commercial Activities
Total turnover in December was CHF 17.1m (-67.8% vs. previous year). The decrease divides into -83.9% for airside and -48.6% for landside.
