First Citrus Bancorporation : Search Begins for “Good ‘Burgers” to Recognize Organizations and Individuals that Make St. Pete Special

ST.PETERSBURG, Fla., June 21, 2021 - First Citrus Bank is a sponsor of the 9th Annual Good 'Burger Awards, a local event to recognize and reward individuals, businesses and organizations that make a positive impact in our St. Petersburg community. This St. Pete Chamber of Commerce celebration is in honor of a former mayor who referred to his citizens as 'burgers', a moniker derived from St. Petersburgers.

Starting today through July 23, 2021, locals can nominate organizations and individuals in their community to be considered as finalists. There are 11 categories to select from, including arts and culture, eats and treats, trailblazers, community conscious, cool companies, and new biz on the block. All of these categories provide an outlet for a nominee to make a positive impact in the community.

Votes for finalists will take place between August 30th to October 1st. The winners for each category will be announced at the award ceremony that takes place on October 28, 2021 at Jannus Live.
