Federated Investors, Inc. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2018. For the quarter, the company reported total revenue of $307,216,000 compared to $278,312,000 a year ago. Operating income was $87,954,000 compared to $90,834,000 a year ago. Net income was $61,536,000 or $0.61 per basic share compared to $131,810,000 or $1.31 per basic share a year ago.
For the year, the company reported total revenue of $1,135,677,000 compared to $1,102,924,000 a year ago. Operating income was $330,280,000 compared to $341,508,000 a year ago. Net income was $220,297,000 or $2.18 per basic share compared to $291,341,000 or $2.87 per basic share a year ago.
