Far East Gold Limited announced that preliminary assay results have now been received for the whole of Rek Rinti drillhole RDD004. On 13 December 2022, the Company announced preliminary assay results for its Woyla Copper Gold Project had identified three Discovery Holes which included drillhole RRD004 that had only received partial assays at that time. The preliminary assay results for all of drillhole RRD004 indicate multiple zones of gold and silver mineralization within the quartz vein-breccia zone drilled.

The results confirm the resource potential of the Rek Rinti epithermal vein system and support the Company's intention to commence a resource delineation drill program. All preliminary assays have been received for Rek Rinti drillhole RRD004. Significant assays on a gold equivalent (AuEq) basis have returned results of 3.43 g/t AuEq over 30m (from 98-128m), this included 8.9 g/t AuEq over 8.1m (102.4-110.5m) and 27 g/t AuEq over 2m (108-110m).

A deeper intercept of 2.1 g/t AuEq over 4m also occurs from 147-151m. The gold-silver mineralised zones intersected in RDD004 remain open along strike and to depth. Two diamond drill rigs are active at the Rek Rinti prospect area and one diamond drill rig is active at the Anak Perak prospect area.

Surface mapping has identified multiple separate veins within the Rek Rinti epithermal vein system, four of which are being tested by the Phase 1 drill program. The Company's Diamond drilling activities for the Phase 1 drill program at the Woyla project are planned to be completed in the field by the end of 2022. 19 of the 20 planned holes for the Anak Perak Phase 1 dill program are now complete and 9 of the 12 planned holes at the Rek Rinit prospect area are complete.

To date a total of 3,955m has been drilled across both the Anak Perak and Rek Rinti prospect areas of the planned 4,700m of drilling. The Company has so far received preliminary assays for 2,350m of the completed drilling which represents approximately half of the planned drilling for Phase 1. The Company is looking forward to receiving the remaining assays that will further inform the planned resource delineation drill program in the new year.
