Ezaki Glico Co. said that Etsuro Ezaki, the eldest son of current President Katsuhisa Ezaki, will become the next president on March 24, marking the first transition of power at the confectionery maker in some four decades. Etsuro Ezaki, 49, is currently Senior Executive Officer at the company.
The elder Ezaki, 80, will become chairman with the right to represent the company.
