Embassy Bancorp, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced net interest income was USD 9.244 million compared to USD 8.340 million a year ago. Net income was USD 3.317 million compared to USD 2.614 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.44 compared to USD 0.35 a year ago. For the half year, net interest income was USD 18.035 million compared to USD 16.554 million a year ago. Net income was USD 5.774 million compared to USD 5.166 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.77 compared to USD 0.69 a year ago.
