Solitario Announces Mt. Hamilton Reclamation Permits Approved

Denver, Colorado: Solitario Exploration & Royalty Corp. ("Solitario;" NYSE MKT: XPL; TSX: SLR) and Ely Gold & Minerals ("Ely Gold;" TSX.V: ELY) are pleased to announce that the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection ("NDEP") has recently approved two key Reclamation Permits for the Mt. The last major Federal/State permit outstanding is the Air Quality Permit that is expected to be approved towards the end of the first quarter of this year. We would like to acknowledge all the stakeholders that have participated in this process, especially the diligent work of the State and Federal agencies that have consistently maintained a disciplined approach in their evaluation of our proposed mining related activities."
