Edan Instruments, Inc. announced earnings results for the half year ended June 30, 2021. For the half year, the company announced sales was CNY 885.950 million compared to CNY 1,277.549 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 197.577 million compared to CNY 543.608 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 185.032 million compared to CNY 472.796 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.3191 compared to CNY 0.8128 a year ago.
Edan Instruments, Inc. is a China-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture, sales of medical electronic equipment products and in-vitro diagnostic products, as well as the provision of related services. The Company provides maternity product series, including doppler fetal heart beat monitors, ultrasonic doppler fetal heart beat monitors, fetal/maternal monitors and maternity integrated diagnostic monitoring systems; electrocardiograph series, including digital twelve-channel electrocardiographs, digital six-channel electrocardiographs, electrocardiographic workstations, single-channel electrocardiographs and multi-channel electrocardiographs; monitoring product series, including portable multi-variable monitors, central monitoring systems and oximeters, as well as ultrasonic image product series, including digital ultrasonic diagnostic systems and others. The Company is also involved in the spare parts sale and in vitro diagnostics products business.
