ATLANTA, July 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- EAU Technologies, Inc. ("EAU" or "Company") (OTC Bulletin Board: EAUI), a leading provider of electrolyzed water for high-volume, business-to-business applications, today announced a non-exclusive commercial relationship with Cadence Technologies, Inc., Alpharetta, GA. Privately held Cadence, specializes in clean in place ("CIP") applications in the food and beverage industries, has the rights to market EAU's non-toxic technology, marketed as Empowered Water(TM).

EAU Technologies' Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems provide stabilized, non-toxic electrolyzed water solutions which are proven to be effective cleaning treatments, killing pathogens including Salmonella, E. coli and Campylobacter without compromising the quality of the food or beverage products. Empowered Water(TM) has been tested as well as commercially installed in various industries such as beverage, poultry, produce, and dairy.

Empowered Water(TM) is created by combining salt and water with an electrical charge. The process separates the positive and negative ions of the water, creating two forms of fluid, one acidic and one alkaline. The electrolyzed alkaline water is used to clean, followed by a rinse of the electrolyzed acidic water to kill any remaining pathogens. Empowered Water(TM) has been proven non-toxic and environmentally friendly when used at approved concentrations. "This is a true game-changer. We haven't seen anything with this type of potential in the Food and Beverage Industry in the past 20 years." Glenn Cooper, President & COO of Cadence Technologies, Inc.

"Finding the right partner to roll out EAU's Empowered Water(TM) to the food and beverage industry is the key to penetration. Empowered Water(TM) will change the way cleaning and sanitizing is done in numerous industries," said Wade Bradley, President & CEO of EAU Technologies. "EAU is the leader in developing industrial electrolyzed water technology. Our industry disruptive green solution has the ability to increase productivity, improve CIP performance, lower chemical costs, increase water savings, and reduce energy usage while minimizing wastewater treatment impact for our customers."

"Our relationship with EAU enhances Cadence's ability to serve its clients. Application of the new "Empowered Water" technology in Food and Beverage manufacturing facilities, equips processors with a sustainable option for protecting margins, improving operations and increasing employee safety," Hank Brink, CEO of Cadence Technologies, Inc.
