The Fund's fiscal year ended on October 31, 2011.
For the three months ended October 31, 2011, the Fund had net investment income of $640,562 ($0.044 per share). For the year ended October 31, 2011, the Fund had net investment income of $20,715,638 ($1.427 per share). In comparison, for the three months ended October 31, 2010, the Fund had net investment income of $3,233,624 ($0.223 per share). For the year ended October 31, 2010, the Fund had net investment income of $21,443,957 ($1.477 per share).
Net realized and unrealized losses for the three months ended October 31, 2011 were $28,484,895 ($1.956 per share) and net realized and unrealized losses for the year ended October 31, 2011 were $15,726,752 ($1.077 per share). In comparison, net realized and unrealized gains for the three months ended October 31, 2010 were $25,559,946 ($1.759 per share) and net realized and unrealized gains for the year ended October 31, 2010 were $32,299,695 ($2.223 per share).
On October 31, 2011, net assets of the Fund were $303,817,491. The net asset value per share on October 31, 2011 was $20.93 based on 14,519,257 shares outstanding. In comparison, on October 31, 2010, net assets of the Fund were $319,161,372. The net asset value per share on October 31, 2010 was $21.98 based on 14,519,257 shares outstanding.
