Food Runner Co. Ltd. announced that it has received ¥18 million in a round of funding from new investor EAT&Co., Ltd. on May 20, 2014. The company issued equity securities to the investor for a majority 90% stake by 3rd party allocation. The transaction was approved at the board of directors' meeting of the investor. After the transaction, the capital of the company increased to ¥20 million.
On May 20, 2014, Food Runner Co. Ltd. closed the transaction.
Eat&Holdings Co Ltd, formerly Eat& Co Ltd, is a Japan-based company engaged in the production and sale of frozen food products, as well as the operation of restaurant chains. The Company operates in two business segments.
