Eat& Foods (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. announced that it will raise CNY 36,500,000 ($165,000), in an equity round of funding from returning investor, Eat&Co Ltd on April 17, 2012. After completion of the transaction, the investor will increase its stake in the company from 31.73% to 54.88%. The company had net assets of CNY 216,000 ($33,937.20), total assets of CNY 459,000 ($72,116.50), sales of CNY 291,000 ($45,720.90), and net profits of CNY 615,000 ($96,626.70) in 2011. The conversion was made through www.oanda.com as on December 31, 2011.
On December 6, 2012, Eat& Foods (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. closed the transaction.
Eat&Holdings Co Ltd, formerly Eat& Co Ltd, is a Japan-based company engaged in the production and sale of frozen food products, as well as the operation of restaurant chains. The Company operates in two business segments.
