Denso announced senior management changes, all effective on June 19, 2015, which were approved at a shareholders and board of directors meeting in Japan. Nobuaki Katoh has been promoted to chairman of the board and Koji Kobayashi to vice-chairman, while Koji Arima is now president and CEO. the company has also appointed Sadahiro Usui as senior executive director, Denso International America Inc, and Katsuhisa Shimokawa as senior executive director, Production Innovation Center.

The company has also appointed Hiroyuki Ina as senior executive director, Electronic Systems Business Group. New appointments for executive directors include Masato Nakagawa (Denso International Europe B.V), Yutaka Yamanouchi (Pt. Denso Indonesia), Hisashi Iida (Engine Control Components Business Unit, System Control Components Business Unit), Marco Di Rao Marotta (Thermal Systems Business of Europe), and Sinnosuke Hayashi (Electronics Business Unit).

The company has also announced the retirement of senior officers including Manfredo Nicolelli, who has retired as senior executive director and been appointed chairman of Denso Thermal Systems S.p.A.
