Delta Sky Club on Concourse B was recently named a 2018 Magellan Gold Award winner in the Airport Lounge Category by Travel Weekly ­- the first award for this Club. Delta was the only U.S. airline and one of only two winners that received the 2018 Magellan Gold Award in the Airport Lounge Category.

With floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic skyline views, the 25,000 sq. ft. Club has many features designed to provide a meaningful and inviting environment for Club guests, including:

• Seasonally-rotated, local fare that reflects what people love about Atlanta

• A full service bar with premium and complimentary wine, beer and seasonal cocktails to enjoy

• Wright Brothers mural by Atlanta-based artist Alexi Torres, just one of the pieces featured in THE GALLERY, a Club program that features art from local galleries and emerging artists, adding another local element for guests' visit to the Club

This year's Magellan Awards were selected by a panel of 18 travel industry experts and leaders from a variety of disciplines, who noted the high quality of the submissions.

Over the past two years, Delta has focused on enhancing the customer experience at Delta Sky Clubs across its network. Delta announced new Delta Sky Clubs coming to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in 2019; debuted renovated Delta Sky Clubs at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport and Minneapolis -St. Paul International Airport; expanded the Delta Sky Club at Raleigh-Durham International Airport; and opened new flagship Delta Sky Clubs at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Delta also unveiled Asanda Spa Lounges at ATL, SEA and JFK so guests can rest and recharge during their travels. In the past 16 months, Delta Sky Club at Sea-Tac took home four industry awards, including the coveted International Yacht and Aviation Award in the Airport Lounge category for excellence in design.
