DataTraceDNA Selected by Global Bearing Manufacturer
The Directors of DataDot Technology Limited (ASX:DDT)
announce that DataTrace DNA Pty Ltd (DataTrace) has entered
into a three year product supply agreement with a leading
European bearing manufacturer. DataTrace has been chosen as
the bearing manufacturer's exclusive partner for its global
brand protection initiative.
The contract will generate material revenue for DataTrace in
the current half-year with deployment of DataTraceDNA before
July in two of the customer's four manufacturing plants.
Directors expect revenue to grow in 2013 as the customer
extends application of the technology to its other two
manufacturing plants and as it increases the volume of
bearing production.
DDT Executive Chairman Bruce Rathie said that the contract
marks a significant milestone in establishing DataTrace's
credentials as a global leader in covert authentication of
industrial assets.
