Data Agro Limited reported unaudited earnings results for third quarter and nine months ended March 31, 2018. For the quarter, the company reported turnover of PKR 31,804,473 against PKR 31,306,491 a year ago. Operating profit was PKR 3,273,498 against PKR 4,455,078 a year ago. Profit before taxation was PKR 3,258,898 against PKR 4,429,323 a year ago. Profit after taxation was PKR 2,050,727 or PKR 0.51 per share against PKR 4,116,258 or PKR 1.03 per share a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported turnover of PKR 79,078,102 against PKR 70,221,865 a year ago. Operating profit was PKR 3,433,391 against PKR 3,046,907 a year ago. Profit before taxation was PKR 3,547,256 against PKR 2,940,444 a year ago. Profit after taxation was PKR 4,062,647 or PKR 1.02 per share against PKR 2,238,225 or PKR 0.56 per share a year ago.
Data Agro Limited is a Pakistan-based company that is engaged in the making and selling of hybrid seeds. The Company is engaged in the production, processing and grading of agro seeds. Its products include hybrid corn-spring, hybrid corn-autumn, cotton, fodders, wheat and paddy, and also provides delinting as a service. The Company delints its own product as well as that of its clients. Its hybrid corn-spring product varieties include D 37T55, D 27D65 and D 3464. Its hybrid corn-autumn product varieties include DAL 2468, DAL 2271 and DAL 4464. Its cotton product varieties include IUB 13, MNH 1016, CKC 1, CKC 3 and CKC 5. The Company's wheat product varieties include Akbar 2019, Faisalabad 2008, Fakhar-e-Bhakar, Dilkash 2021, Subhani 2021, Bhakar Star and Aruj. Its Paddy product varieties include Basic Seed, Certified Seed, Kainaat PK 1121, Kisan Basmati 1509, Super Basmati and Basmati 515. Its fodder products include Sorghum Sudan Grass Hybrids, Corn Double Cross Hybrids and F Goyee.
