Daido Steel Co., Ltd. provided earnings guidance for the first half and full year of fiscal year ending March 31, 2022. For the first half, the company expected Net sales of JPY 255,000 Million; Operating income of JPY 18,000 Million; Profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 11,500 Million and Profit attributable to owners of parent per share of JPY 269.78.
For the year, the company expected Net sales of JPY 500,000 million; Operating income to be JPY 35,000 million; Profit attributable to owners of parent to be JPY 23,500 million and Profit attributable to owners of parent per share to be JPY 551.29.
Daido Steel Co., Ltd. is a steel manufacturing company operating in five business segments. The Specialty Steel segment is engaged in the manufacture, inspection and sale of specialty steel and secondary products, as well as the procurement of materials. The Functional and Magnetic Materials segment offers functional and electronic materials, high-alloyed products and rare-earth magnetic products.
