CVC Brasil Operadora e Agencia de Viagens S.A. announced sales and operating results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2016. For the quarter, the company reported Same Store Sales – growth was 10.7% compared to decrease of 4.1% a year ago.

For the year, the company reported Same Store Sales – growth of 1.9% compared to 0.5% a year ago.

For the quarter, bookings totaled BRL 1,497 million growth of 13.4% a year ago. Boarded Passengers were 1,130.1 compared to 1,040.2 a year ago.

For the year, the bookings totaled BRL 5,541 million in 2016, growth of 6.5% versus 2015. The fourth-quarter year-on-year increase in bookings was driven primarily by the strong growth in Same Store Sales and the recovery in international bookings. Boarded Passengers were 3,933.2 compared to 3,799.9 a year ago.
