Crawford & Company has announced that Philip Porter, senior vice president of the company's US property and casualty business, will retire after 40 years with the company on January 31, 2013. In his current role Mr. Porter is responsible for all of Crawford's US operations that provide property and casualty claims services; vehicle services, regional management and sales. Mr. Porter reports to Kevin Frawley, CEO, Property & Casualty Americas, and is based in Atlanta.

Mr. Porter joined Crawford in 1973 as branch adjuster in Peoria, Illinois, and had multiple promotions with increased responsibilities throughout his tenure, serving as product manager, regional manager, catastrophe manager, class action product development, and as sales manager. He was promoted to his current position in 2005.
