The board of CPT Global Limited (CPT) announce that it has completed its strategic and succession planning process, securing continuity of vision and leadership over the coming years. Effective 1 November 2021, Luke Tuddenham (41), current President of The Americas and Europe, will take over as CEO of CPT from founder and Managing Director Gerry Tuddenham. Luke will continue to be based in the US, where he has spearheaded CPT's extremely successful expansion into the world's largest market. CPT's founder and Managing Director Gerry Tuddenham will oversee the handover to Luke whilst heading up a major strategic pivot for CPT: a 5 year plan to fund and develop a new suite of tools and software. With 49 years experience in international software and technology development at the highest level, Gerry is uniquely qualified to lead this strategic initiative, which will create innovative, trusted and yet disruptive tools for the mainframe, midrange and other platforms. As CPT's software business builds out, Luke as incoming CEO will focus on increasing CPT's overall presence in North America and Australia, whilst overseeing expansion in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Gerry hands over the leadership of CPT as the Group is enjoying its strongest profit results in its 21 year history. Gerry will remain a director of CPT. Luke joined CPT in 2005 and worked in the company's Australian and USA markets for six years before focusing on North America, becoming the Vice President in 2011 and then President of the North American & European business in 2016. Luke started his career in Melbourne with Andersen in 2000 and joined CPT Global from PricewaterhouseCoopers.
