Vuguru Announces Premiere Of Highly-Anticipated Season Two Of Psychological Thriller "The Booth At The End" 6 August, 2012

Independent studio, Vuguru, today announced the U.S. and international release of season two of the hit multi-platform series "The Booth at the End," premiering exclusively in the U.S. on Hulu (www.hulu.com/booth) and Hulu Plus, in Canada on Citytv.com and two additional Rogers Media offerings, and in various territories online and on TV this fall through Fox International Channels.

The psychological thriller created by writer Christopher Kubasik and directed by Emmy® Award-winner Adam Arkin (Justified, Sons of Anarchy) stars Xander Berkeley (Nikita, 24, CSI, Kick-Ass) as "The Man" who can give people what they want, for a price.

Beginning August 6, a new 22-minute episode will be released every Monday on the free, ad-supported Hulu and the Hulu Plus subscription service in the U.S., and on Rogers Media's Citytv.com video portal, Citytv App, and RogersAnyplaceTV.com online in Canada.

International distribution partner Content Digital, a division of Content Media Corporation, and Fox International Channels will begin a digital and TV rollout in the U.K., France, Spain, Portugal, Australia and Russia on September 1.

""The Booth at the End" was a global success last year and we're extremely excited to launch season two - once again as part of Hulu's exciting exclusive U.S. summer programming line-up," said Larry Tanz, CEO of Vuguru. "Canadian viewers will also once again get hooked on the show through Rogers' digital platforms. Our incredible international distribution partner Content Digital brings Fox International Channels and others on board to continue the multiplatform release around the world."

The mysterious man who sits in a booth at the end of the diner is back. He can grant you any wish you want, but always for a price. Some wander into the diner looking for redemption, others for love or a miracle cure. No matter the wish, if they want it to come true, they will have to complete whatever challenge the Man gives them. Something has changed though. The Man has a wish of his own and a task offered to fulfill it. Now in its second season, this half-hour psychological thriller probes the question: "How far would you go to get what you want?"
Ensemble cast members joining star Xander Berkeley and director Adam Arkin include Noel Fisher (Hatfields & McCoys, Shameless), Abby Miller (Justified, Private Practice) and Danny Nucci (CSI, Castle).

"Rogers Media is very excited to once again be partnering with Vuguru," said Andrea Gagliardi, Senior Director and General Manager, Broadcasting, Rogers Digital Media. "This series exemplifies how we are making premium programming accessible to viewers on multiple platforms, at any time."

Lauded by The Guardian as "intense, compelling…impossible to stop watching" and by People magazine as "Icily Brilliant." Season one of "The Booth at the End" rolled out as a global, multi-platform property: short-form episodes on mobile and online, traditional half-hour episodes on television, VOD and online, and feature length on VOD, EST, DVD and Blu-ray.
