For the third consecutive year, independent testing company Excentis has tested routers from Sweden's top broadband providers. The test shows that the new router, Com Hem WiFi Hub C1, delivers up to four times higher WiFi speeds and is on average of 57 percent faster than the competitors routers.

According to the test performed by Excentis, the Com Hem router delivers a maximum speed of 773 Mbit/s, which is 106 Mbit/s higher than the next-fastest router. The average speed of the new Com Hem WiFi Hub C1 router was 168 Mbit/s, which is 61 Mbit/s faster than routers from Telia and Bredbandsbolaget.

'Our new router significantly raises the bar for what customers can expect from their broadband provider. The Excentis test clearly shows that our router is both faster and supports a significantly better coverage than anything currently offered by our competitors,' says Joakim Öhrström, Head of Broadband & Telephony at Com Hem.

The Com Hem WiFi Hub C1, manufactured by SagemCom, is being launched in Sweden today and features the latest technology, including seven antennas, dual band and smart beamforming that directs the WiFi signal to your device.

The router is included in all new broadband subscriptions from 100 Mbit/s and upwards.
