Cliffmont Resources Ltd. announced the company has been granted all necessary permits for its initial exploration drill campaign at the San Luis Project in Huila, Colombia. The company is planning 5,000 metres of diamond drilling which is projected to start in May 2012. The San Luis gold project (2,623 hectares) is located in central-south Colombia in the department of Huila, approximately 80 kilometres northwest of the capital city, Neiva. The San Luis project has established infrastructure, including road access, power and water, and is located on the eastern flank of the Central Cordillera at a relatively low altitude ranging from 1,400 metres to 2,100 metres. This initial drill program is aimed at testing the lateral and depth extension of known mineralized zones and structures in the north-central area of the company's property and to determine the potential of over 100 veins that are located within a 7km x 3km area. The company is also announced the appointment of Darren Urquhart to Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Urquhart is a Chartered Accountant with more than 10 years of experience working in both public practice and industry. Mr. Urquhart began his career working as a an audit accountant with Grant Thornton LLP, then later worked as a senior tax accountant with Lohn Caulder Chartered Accountants and most recently served as a consultant to an international private equity company.
