Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2018. For the fourth quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 55,460 million compared to TWD 60,880 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 10,210 million compared to TWD 10,430 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 8,420 million compared to TWD 8,680 million a year ago. Basic EPS were TWD 1.09 compared to TWD 1.12 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was TWD 215,460 million compared to TWD 227,510 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 43,620 million compared to TWD 46,700 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 35,520 million compared to TWD 38,870 million a year ago. Basic EPS were TWD 4.58 compared to TWD 5.01 a year ago.
